Marvel just dropped a new trailer to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, and boy, the world went bonkers. Between that and Robert Downey Jr moving the date of release earlier, it sure is one of the most expected, if not THE MOST expected film of this year. Marvel has dominated the start of this year with Black Panther grossing $1 Billion, but in our excitement have we let some movies be in the shadows?

Here is a look at the 7 most anticipated upcoming Latest Hollywood Movies of 2018

1. The Incredibles 2; June 15, 2018

Millennials of the world unite! ‘The Incredibles 2’ is coming after a long duration of 14 years. 14 years of asking and longing for an outing of one of cinema’s favourite families, we have finally got the sequel. Pixar has put in a lot of thought into the script and it looks the part. The switching of roles in the family is also a key point many people noticed in the trailers, with much emphasis on Elastigirl. One can only hope June comes fast enough.

2. Night School; September 28, 2018 (Latest Hollywood Movie)

What could happen when you team up the two great comedians in one films? A ride of Absolute Hilarity. Seasoned comedy veteran Kevin Hart, of ‘Central Intelligence’ & ‘The Wedding Ringer’ fame, teams up with the freshest exponent of the genre, Tiffany Haddish. These two are coming to tickle your funny bone and boy it sure looks like they are going to do a great job of it. Releasing on September 28, Night School is about a man who dropped out from High School years ago, and now due to certain circumstances earn his GED once again, this time through Night Schooling. The only way this one is bound to go is up, and I will be waiting for this one earnestly, to say the least.

3. Deadpool 2; May 16, 2018

The Deadpool 2 trailer released just yesterday and guess who just got the perfect movie to watch on their 18th birthday? Alas, not me. My sister. Damn Ryan Reynolds. Riding high on the shenanigans of the first Deadpool movie, Ryan Reynolds brings us another crazy, over the top, and skewed action comedy, Deadpool 2. Deadpool 2 has the same quirky feel to it with the fan favourite Dopinder back in the driver’s seat. Boasting the ever-menacing Josh Brolin cast as the supervillain ‘Cable’, this movie sure packs a punch. Now if I could just add a post-credits scene here.

4. Ocean’s 8; June 8, 2018 (Latest Hollywood Movie)

Sandra Bullock is back and she’s got the whole gang of Hollywood’s femme fatales. The spin-off with Debbie, Danny’s sister, as the Ocean in this film is on a quest to carry out a heist in New York. Supported by a stellar ensemble cast of Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna & Helena Bonham Carter, this is probably the most awaited heist–comedy of 2018. Last year we had ‘Logan Lucky’, this year it can be ‘Ocean’s 8’. Praying that this does not do a 2016 ‘Ghostbusters’.

5. Mission Impossible: Fallout; July 27, 2018

The line ‘Your mission should you choose to accept’, is as famous as Tom Cruise. The line has always been the signal to hold on to your seats and expect a jam-packed ride as Cruise’s Hunt battles to save the world from impending crises or doom. This time adding to the ‘masala’ is Henry Cavill and his famed moustache that led to the whole JL debacle. The trailer soundtrack by Imagine Dragons adds to the expectations of the film. All in all this film is set to give a grand spectacle. All aboard the Spy Train. ‘Nuff said.

6. Sicario 2: day of the Soldado; June 29, 2018

Dark, and downright bloody, Sicario was a complete surprise is the way of its delivery. Realistic and violent, the film just got itself a sequel. Benicio Del Toro returns as the Attorney turned soldier on a quest for revenge, only this time the tables have turned. Once again a sequel without its original director, the visual aesthetic and delivery are bound to change. For better or for worse, only time will tell. This still remains a highly anticipated film by the critics.

7. Solo; A Star Wars story. May 25, 2018 (Latest Hollywood Movie)

A treat for all Sci-Fi fans, the eighth instalment in the franchise is set to come out this year. A prequel to Han Solo’s mysterious past and how he came to be the most wanted smuggler across the galaxies. Set to be directed by Academy Award Winner Ron Howard, the movie promises to be choc-a-bloc with action roping in stars Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover & Woody Harellson. Alden Ehnreich stars as the young Han Solo. Walt Disney sure wants the Force to be with its fans.
